About NCTPF

Our Mission

At the National College Test Prep Foundation (NCTPF), we are dedicated to providing world-class SAT and ACT preparation that every school, parent, or student can afford—either free of charge or with a massive 90+% discount. Our not-for-profit mission is simple yet profound: to promote equal access and opportunity for all students, ensuring that no one is left behind in the pursuit of higher education and scholarships. Because when it comes to the college entrance exam—this single three-hour event can shape a lifetime of possibilities and every student deserves a fair shot.

All donations to NCTPF go directly toward improving our program, expanding our reach, and empowering more students to succeed. We're not just preparing for tests; we're building bridges to brighter tomorrows for all students.

Who We Are

The National College Test Prep Foundation, founded in 2025 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Entity Number 14546752-0140, EIN 33-3473141), emerged from the 25-year legacy of eKnowledge, a pioneering educational service that served over 400,000 students with innovative SAT and ACT prep resources. On March 31, 2025, eKnowledge donated its entire library of learning content—over 165,000 expertly crafted lessons, videos, explanations, and tools (spanning 300 gigabytes)—to NCTPF, along with the cherished goodwill of its trade name and reputation. This irrevocable gift transformed the mission into a public good, free from commercial pressures and focused solely on students and their families.

We believe the SAT and ACT aren't just exams—they're gateways to opportunity. Recent research backs this up: Dartmouth College studies show that test-optional policies disproportionately harm disadvantaged applicants, while taking the exam and submitting scores can boost college acceptance odds by up to 3.6x. With top universities like Ivy League schools reinstating testing requirements, the need to do well on the exam has never been more important and the stakes have never been higher. That's why NCTPF is committed to helping all students without limitations. Our program integrates comprehensive, research-backed strategies to help students from every background chart their course, light their path, and cross the bridge to their dreams.

At our core, we're a team of passionate educators, advocates, and innovators driven by a shared vision: democratizing test prep in an era where private interests threaten public access.
